The terms on which we sell to you. Placing an order means you accept them.
The seller
This site is operated by Watch Winder House, an independent business established in Switzerland, Austrasse 7, 8045 Zürich. Contact: hello@watchwinderhouse.com.
Products and prices
Prices are shown in US dollars, shipping included. The supplier takes charge of customs duties and import formalities: where import duty, VAT or another charge applies in your country, it is shown and settled at checkout, and no further charge is made at destination. As a Swiss business under the CHF 100,000 threshold, the business is not registered for Swiss VAT, so no VAT is itemised on the invoice. We may change prices at any time, but never after your order is confirmed.
Photographs are indicative. Wood grain, lacquer depth and interior lining vary slightly from one piece to the next.
Orders
Your order is accepted when we send the confirmation email. We may refuse an order in case of an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, or a delivery address we cannot ship to.
Payment
Payment is taken in full at the time of order, through our payment provider, over an encrypted connection. We do not store card numbers.
Delivery and risk
Delivery is free, to the threshold of the address given. Risk passes to you when the parcel is handed over at that address. Customs duties, import formalities and any charge levied at destination are handled by the supplier and settled at checkout; you are never asked to pay anything to the carrier or at the door. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and a delay does not by itself entitle you to cancel unless it exceeds thirty days.
Warranty and liability
Every product carries a two-year commercial warranty on motors and electronics, alongside any statutory guarantee of conformity you hold under the law of your country of residence.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the price you paid for the item. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for any watch placed in a winder, or for costs of installation or removal.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law, with the courts of Zürich competent. Nothing here removes the mandatory consumer protections of your own country of residence, including the right of an EU consumer to bring a claim locally.
