What we collect, why we collect it, and how to have it deleted.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Watch Winder House, established in Switzerland, Austrasse 7, 8045 Zürich. For any question about your data, write to hello@watchwinderhouse.com.
What we collect
To fulfil an order: name, delivery address, email, phone number and order contents. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
To run the site: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type.
If you subscribe: your email address only.
Why we collect it
To take payment, ship your order and handle returns and warranty claims (performance of a contract). To send you offers if you have subscribed (consent). To detect fraud and keep accounts (legitimate interest and legal obligation).
Who we share it with
Our payment provider, our carriers, our email provider and our hosting provider, each only with what they need. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Order and accounting records for ten years, as Swiss commercial law requires. Newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Analytics data for fourteen months.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict its use, or object to marketing. Write to hello@watchwinderhouse.com and we answer within one month.
We follow the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, for customers in the EU, the GDPR. You may complain to the Swiss FDPIC, or to your national data protection authority if you are in the EU.
